• Queen/Teen Queen Pageant – September 18 at 7:00 p.m., T. Edward Davis Gymnasium, Salem International University Campus

• Amateur Talent Show Preliminaries – October 3 at 2:00 p.m., Depot Pavilion Stage

• Junior Miss Pageant - October 7, Depot Stage, 4:00 p.m.

• Little Apple Dumpling Pageant - October 7, Depot Stage, 5:00 p.m.

• Quilt Show - October 7-9, Basement of Salem Baptist Church

• Pet Show-Off - October 8 at 5:30 p.m., Depot Pavilion Stage

• 5K Run - October 9 at 9:00 a.m., North Bend Rail-Trail

• Greased Pig Contest - October 9 at 10:00 a.m., lot behind post office

• Grand Parade - October 9 at 12:00 noon, Main Street

• Celebrity Auction - October 9 at 2:00 p.m., drive-through canopy of Salem Office, Cornerstone Bank

• Fireworks - October 9 following Rick K. & The Allnighters’ New ‘80’s concert

• Car Show - October 10 at 12 noon, Judel Glass Products parking lot

• Bicycle Poker Ride - October 10 at 1:00 p.m., North Bend Rail-Trail

• Horseshoe Pitching Tournament (doubles) - October 10 at 1:00 p.m., pitching lanes beside Salem Office, Cornerstone Bank (Sponsored by Salem Area Chamber of Commerce)
